According to the Anthem Blue Cross, 30 minutes of unprotected sun exposure twice a week provides enough vitamin D for most people. Take a walk, mow the lawn or work on the garden and be fortified with vitamin D.

Vitamin D helps prevent or treat: flu, asthma, autism, cancer, heart disease, depression, obesity and more.

(07/23/13) SODA LIKE CRACK COCAINE ON TEETH?

picture-of-meth-teethDrinking large quantities of soda can be as damaging to your teeth (tooth erosion) as methamphetamine and crack cocaine use. Tooth erosion occurs when acid wears away tooth enamel. Without enamel, teeth are more susceptible to developing cavities, as well as becoming sensitive, cracked, and discolored. The citric acid present in both regular and diet soda is known to have a high potential for causing tooth erosion. The ingredients used in preparing methamphetamine can include extremely corrosive materials such as battery acid, lantern fuel, and drain cleaner. Crack cocaine is also highly acidic in nature. ~ General Dentistry, June 2013
