Ponci, I am aware of a Broker that, I believe, is defrauding Fannie Mae by buying his own listings under another company name, rehabbing them and then putting them back on the market for sale, renting them or offering them for CFD through our MLS. Not only is he doing this, but 9 out of 10 times his CFD goes south, usually for something he has or has not done to the home-according to the disgruntled buyers-, the naive buyers file a lawsuit and usually lose because he is much smarter than they are about this kind of thing so can cover his tracks or they don’t have the money to file suit and they end up losing thousands of dollars. Who can I report this to, or should I even report it, or do I even HAVE anything to report, as I feel he is doing a dis-service not only to Fannie Mae and the real estate industry as a whole but also to these poor, unsuspecting buyers that end up losing the most.

do you have videos or information on how someone gets involved in Property Preservation with the asset Managers? Are there applications for that? Or perhaps is it the REO list Agent that hires the Preservation company after they receive the listing? I am aware of many REO homes that just sit and do not get listed for some time but are being cared for? I am located in SW Florida.
How about video or information on REO to Lease program? I also own a property management company.

I am hoping you can give me some advise on obtaining an REO account. It has been difficult to get in the business due to the lack of REO experience. The banks or Asset Management companies require at least a one year experience in the REO field, but how can I get the exp without getting a chance. I have done BPO, and I have a Property Preservation Company which I have one account but as a contractor.
The office where I am license just received an account with Fannie Mae but of course is one agent assigned to them. I have thoughts about opening my own RE. company just to see if being the managing broker I will be able to get an account.
Please share with me your ideas I look forward in hearing from you.

When I click on the links for applications, it asks for a password & I am putting in my password for your blog, but I never get passed the password screen. HELP! My first recommendation is to work with an REO agent, work the buyers and learn the REO process. Second, go to REO conventions [click here]. REOCON will be giving away REO properties. Plus, go not for the classes, go to network with REO agents outside your coverage area. Network, network, network.
